Nice French Riviera

Beaches & Harbour - The many pebble beaches surrounding the city are crystal clean and mostly free to the public. They benefit from Nice's mild microclimate and the warm waters of the French Riviera. The harbor is home to private yachts, beautiful buildings and fantastic restaurants. From here you can also take a trip to Corsica or around the Bay of Angels.

Nightlife - From the arts to dance venues, elegant bars and restaurants, the city is vibrant at night. The Théatre de Nice and The Opéra de Nice offer concerts, dance performances and Operas. Of course a trip to the Côte d'Azur would not be complete without seeing one of the glamorous casinos such as The Cabaret du Casino Ruhl. The thirty annual festivals, including the Jazz Festival and the Carnival of Nice, draw appreciative crowds.

Local Area - Inland are the Maritime Alps, with skiing just over an hour away. Hiking is also available amongst the shady wooded hills and Mercantour Mountains to the north.

The road to the nearby Italian border and Monaco follows the spectacular rugged coast-line, and the drive alone is worth the trip as well as the exciting destination of Monte Carlo. The other beautiful towns of the Côte d'Azur; Cannes, Frejus, St Tropez , San Raphael and Jan Cap Ferrat, are all within an hours' drive and rich with that French Riviera je ne sais quoi.

Mediterranean climate

This self-catering apartment is situated in the beautiful town of Nice, and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. It is conveniently situated between the Port and the Old Town in an area mainly occupied by local residents. Have a real French holiday: enjoy the bustle and charm of French daily life, and get away from other tourists in this beautiful Nice location.

The flat is also easily accessible from the airport, via a regular bus route to the Gare Routier, near Garibaldi Square. All amenities, including shops, cafes and markets, are within easy walking distance: and public transport is cheap, clean and regular if you want to travel further afield. The train station is only a 10 /15 minute walk and there is a train to the Ventimiglia Market in Italy on Fridays. There is also ferry to Corsica from the port.

There are lots of restaurants in easy walking distance with set price menus; the ones on the right hand side of the port tend to be more exclusive than the ones on the left hand side!

It has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and fridge and accommodates 4 people comfortably; either two couples, or one couple and two children. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. We can reserve dates for you while flight details are arranged.
